Summary
Kill the gauges for the pools containing Resolv stablecoins (USR, wstUSR, RLP).
Abstract
Killing pool gauges will stop CRV emissions going to the respective Resolv pools. It is done by calling set_killed() on the gauge contract and otherwise the pools are unaffected.
Motivation
Resolv (USR) was exploited, resulting in a significant depeg of USR. The USR/USDC pool is heavily imbalanced (~97% USR), confirming the depeg.
Killing the gauge:
- Prevents new users from being incentivized into a compromised asset
- Reduces systemic exposure within the Curve ecosystem
- Aligns with prior DAO risk-management actions
This is a protective risk-management action for the Curve ecosystem.
