Protocol Description:

Spectra is a yield tokenization protocol that splits ERC-4626 vaults of underlying Interest-Bearing Tokens (IBT), into Principal Tokens (PTs) and Yield Tokens (YTs), enabling separation of fixed and variable yield components.

All PT/IBT liquidity is routed through Curve factory pools, which form the core settlement layer for Spectra’s yield markets.

Motivation:

Spectra is directly aligned with the Curve ecosystem. All PT/IBT trading occurs on Curve factory pools, and 20% of Spectra protocol revenue is shared with veCRV lockers.
Adding a gauge for SPECTRA-OETH pool allows Spectra to participate in the birb economy.

Specifications:

  1. Governance: Spectra is governed by veSPECTRA holders.

  2. Oracles: Spectra is not reliant on external oracles, as it uses Curve AMM infrastructure.

  3. Audits: Spectra has undergone mulitple security audits.

  4. Centralization Vector: Certain administrative features are controlled by a Multisig.
